Flexible cable OZ-500 – reliability and versatility of applications

The OZ-500 flexible cable is a proposal for professionals and demanding users who need a reliable conductor for medium-duty installations. Construction and properties

The OZ-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction. Its multi-strand, twisted copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295) guarantee good flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. PVC insulation (Z 7225) provides effective protection against electrical damage, and the outer PVC coating (TM2) protects against the effects of weather conditions and chemicals. The conductors are black with white digital printing for easy identification, which is particularly useful during installation and maintenance.

It is worth paying attention to a number of important features:

• Chemical resistance: The cable is resistant to oils and many chemical compounds – ideal for industrial environments.
• UV resistance: The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting, and are also resistant to UV radiation, allowing the cable to be used outdoors.

The OZ-500 cable is used in various installations:

• External installations: Laying in the open air (excluding direct burial in the ground or laying in water).

The minimum bending radius of the cable is 7.5 x outer diameter for flexible operation and 4 x outer diameter for stationary operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 7.4 mm, which makes it easier to route in tight spaces. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely match the length to the installation needs.
