Construction and properties

The OZ-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction, ensuring long-term and safe operation. Made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), insulated with PVC, it offers good flexibility and ease of installation. The cores are black and clearly numbered, making identification easier during installation. The outer PVC sheath provides protection against mechanical damage, weathering, and the effects of oils and chemicals. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium, or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is UV-resistant, self-extinguishing, and flame-retardant (tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2).

Applications and operating parameters

This cable is used in medium-duty electrical installations where flexible connections without tensile stress are required. It is suitable for use in dry, damp, and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – provided there is no direct contact with the ground or water. It is particularly recommended in mechanical engineering for control, signaling, and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. The permissible operating temperature of the cable is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The rated voltage is 500V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter (flexible) and 4 x cable diameter (stationary). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.5 mm.
