TRONIC Flexible Cable – Reliability and Versatility in Every Application

This metered TRONIC flexible cable is the ideal solution for connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications, both in internal installations and in mechanical and control engineering. Thanks to its construction with multi-strand copper cores, the cable ensures reliable signal transmission in various conditions.

Construction and Properties

The TRONIC cable is distinguished by careful workmanship and high-quality materials. Copper cores, twisted in a way that ensures flexibility, are insulated with special PVC (TI2), which guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. Color coding of the cores according to DIN 47100 standard facilitates identification and improves installation safety. The outer jacket made of PVC (TM2) provides additional protection of the cable against moisture, oils and other chemicals.

It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -5°C to +80°C during flexible operation and from -40°C to +80°C after installation. The cable is also resistant to radiation up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (80 Mrad), making it suitable for use in harsh industrial conditions. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting.

The TRONIC cable is used in flexible connections in dry, damp and wet rooms (but not outdoors). It is particularly recommended where a minimum cable outer diameter is required. It will be perfect in mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science and control systems. The cable is not intended for high-current applications – its operating voltage is 500V.
