TRONIC 40x0.25 cable is a flexible solution for electrical connections where maneuverability and minimal diameter are important. This cable, manufactured by HELUKABEL, features a construction adapted to work in various conditions – from dry rooms to humid environments. Made of copper conductors in PVC insulation, it ensures reliable signal transmission in electrical and electronic installations.
Construction and Properties
The cable consists of 40 flexible copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.25 mm², providing good flexibility and easy installation even in tight spaces. The conductors are insulated with special PVC (TI2) and color-coded according to DIN 47100, making it easy to identify individual wires. The parallel twisted conductors are enclosed in an outer sheath of PVC (TM2) in gray (RAL 7001). The entire cable is metered for convenient dispensing of the required length.
It is worth noting the wide operating temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (after installation) and from -5°C to +80°C during installation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oil and meets the requirements for self-extinguishing and flame-retardant materials (IEC 60332-1-2). The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.
Application
TRONIC 40x0.25 cable is primarily used in:
- Mechanical industry – ideal for internal connections in devices and machines.
- Electronics – suitable for electronic installations requiring flexibility and reliability.
- Computerization – appropriate for connections in control and automation systems.
- Internal installations – excellent for routing cables in dry, humid and wet rooms (but not outdoors).
- Where a minimal external cable diameter is required - thanks to its construction, it allows for optimal use of space.
Thanks to its flexibility and durability, this cable is particularly recommended for dynamic applications where movement or frequent bending of the wires occurs. However, it should be remembered that it is not intended for high-current applications.
