Control cable – reliability and flexibility in every circuit

This multi-core control cable LiY-CY is the ideal solution for installations requiring flexibility and resistance to interference. The cable is designed for use in dry, damp and wet rooms, but is not suitable for outdoor laying. Its construction ensures reliable connections in industrial applications, machines, electronic devices and measuring and control systems. Particularly appreciated where a minimum outer diameter is important, e.g. in miniature connectors.

Construction and properties ensuring long-term operation

The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on multi-wire copper conductors of flexibility class 5 (according to DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228). Each conductor is insulated with PVC type TI2, and the cable color scheme complies with DIN 47100, making identification easier. Twisted layers of conductors are surrounded by a polyester foil and a screen of tinned copper braid, which effectively protects against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is covered with a durable PVC jacket type TM2 in grey color (RAL 7001). The cable is metered, which makes it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium free, guaranteeing safety of use and no impact on painting processes.
