Energy cable NYCY 10x1.5/2.5 – a reliable cable for various applications

This NYCY 10x1.5/2.5 energy cable is a versatile solution for electrical installations in industry, construction, as well as in home and lighting applications. The cable is designed to transmit energy in conditions requiring increased mechanical and electrical resistance. Its construction with a concentric conductor allows it to be used both as a protective conductor (PE) and as a zero potential conductor (PEN), as well as a shield.

Construction and properties

The NYCY cable is characterized by a solid construction. It is made of single-wire copper conductors class 1, insulated with PVC. Concentrically twisted conductors provide flexibility and facilitate installation. In addition, the cable has a filling with a protective mixture and an outer PVC coating that protects against external factors. It is worth noting that the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0276 part 603, HD 603 S1 and IEC 60502, which guarantees its safety and reliability.

Application and operating parameters

This cable is perfect for the following situations:

The cable retains its properties in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible). The maximum permissible operating temperature of the conductor is 70°C, and the short-term operating temperature can reach up to 160°C (for 5 seconds). The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 kV (U) / 600 kV (U0). The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 19 mm. The minimum bending radius is 12x cable diameter for multi-core and 15x for single-core laying.
