Energy cable NYCY 2x1.5/1.5 – reliability and versatility of applications

This 1kV NYCY energy cable with two 1.5 mm² conductors is a solid solution for a wide range of applications in electrical installations. It will work both in industry and in residential construction, ensuring safe and efficient power transmission. The cable construction, compliant with DIN VDE 0276 part 603, HD 603 S1 and IEC 60502 standards, guarantees its reliability and durability.

Construction and properties

The NYCY cable is characterized by a solid construction. Copper conductors, stranded (class 1), are insulated with PVC (DIV4 according to HD 603 S1) and twisted concentrically. Additionally, the cable has an outer sheath made of PVC (DMV5 according to HD 603 S1) in black color, which provides protection against mechanical damage and the influence of atmospheric factors. It is worth noting that the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The concentric conductor can function as a PE or PEN conductor, as well as a screen – this is additional flexibility in installation design.

The rated voltage U/U0 of 1kV/600kV ensures safe use. The minimum bending radius (single-core: 15 x Ø cable; multi-core: 12 x Ø cable) facilitates assembly even in tight spaces. The cable has passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
