The S-FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding construction provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable data transmission even in harsh conditions. The cable is particularly recommended for use in cable chains (so-called "chain"), where it is exposed to continuous bending and movement. Additionally, the polyurethane (PUR) jacket provides resistance to mineral oils, lubricants and other chemicals, making it an ideal choice for industrial environments.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, using 8 copper conductors (4 pairs) with a cross-section of 0.15 mm². The conductors are insulated with polyolefin and twisted in pairs to minimize interference. Additional shielding in the form of an aluminum foil and a braid of copper wires provides effective protection against external interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable and flexible polyurethane (PUR) jacket, which protects the cable against mechanical damage and environmental factors. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 6.6 mm.

The cable meets the standards ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173 and EIA/TIA 568-A, which confirms its high quality and compliance with industry standards. It is also compliant with standards regarding low flammability (IEC 60332-1-2) and halogen-free (IEC 60754-1), which increases safety.
