The HELUKAT® 250S cable features high mechanical and chemical resistance, making it an ideal solution for use in moving parts of machines and equipment. The construction with aluminum foil and braiding provides effective shielding against electromagnetic interference, guaranteeing stable data transmission.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of eight copper conductors (4 pairs), each with a cross-section of 0.15 mm² and a diameter of 0.55 mm. The conductors are tinned, which increases their corrosion resistance and facilitates connections. The twisted pair structure minimizes interference, and the polypropylene (PP) insulation provides good electrical protection. The durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) protects the cable from mechanical damage, oils and other chemicals. This ensures that the cable retains its properties even under difficult operating conditions.

The cable has a common shield in the form of aluminum foil and braiding, which provides high shielding effectiveness against electromagnetic interference (SF/UTP). It complies with ISO/IEC 11801, EN 50173 and EIA/TIA 568-A category 6 standards, and also has certificates confirming its flame retardancy (IEC 60332-1-2) and halogen-free status (IEC 60754-1). The permissible operating temperature range during installation is from -30°C to +70°C, and after installation (without vibration) also from -30°C to +70°C. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 7.8 mm.
