Servo PUR cable for cable carriers acc. to UL/CSA TOPSERV® 109 PUR (4G10) mm² orange 75947
Highly durable cable for cable carriers TOPSERV® 109
This specialized cable, with a polyurethane (PUR) jacket, is designed for use in cable carriers, offering exceptional flexibility and durability. It complies with UL AWM Style 21223 or UL AWM Style 20234, CSA AWM and VDE standards, confirming its high quality and safety. This cable is ideal for applications requiring resistance to external factors and intensive bending.
Construction and properties
The TOPSERV® 109 cable consists of stranded copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6. The conductor insulation is made of halogen-free polypropylene, which increases safety. The power conductors are marked with colors: black with U/L1/C/L+ printing, black with V/L2 printing and black with W/L3/D/L printing. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor.
The construction includes a braid of tinned copper wires acting as a screen, providing protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The power conductors are arranged in parallel with a stabilizing filler, and the whole is surrounded by a fleece braid facilitating sliding and an external PUR jacket in orange color (RAL 2003).
The outer PUR jacket is characterized by low adhesion, abrasion resistance, flame resistance, UV radiation, oils, hydrolysis and microorganisms. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. The cable is also resistant to cleaning and disinfecting agents in accordance with ECOLAB®.
Applications and benefits
The TOPSERV® 109 cable is ideal for connecting power conductors with control conductors in applications requiring simultaneous braking and thermal protection. It is used in motors used in advanced production processes, robotics and the tool industry. Thanks to its construction and properties, it ensures high durability and reliability in demanding working conditions.
This cable offers versatile applications in various industrial applications - from robotics to automation. Halogen-free insulation increases safety by minimizing the risk of toxic gases during a fire. Exceptional resistance to mechanical and chemical factors ensures long-term operation. Effective protection against electromagnetic interference is possible thanks to the copper braid screen. The flexible cable design allows for free routing in cable chains and dynamic applications. The cable can operate in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +90°C (flexibly -30°C to +80°C). Compliance with UL, CSA and VDE standards guarantees high product quality.
The cable has a rated voltage U of 1000 V, a conductor cross-section of 10 mm² and an outer diameter of approximately 17.5 mm. The permissible ambient temperature during installation is -30°C to +80°C and after installation -40°C to +80°C. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm/km and the coupling maximum 250 Ohm/km. The minimum bending radius is approximately 7.5x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4x cable diameter during fixed laying.
