This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution for installations requiring resistance to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. The cable is characterized by its flexibility and reliability, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users. Made of silver-plated copper, it provides excellent conductivity and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
The HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable stands out with its construction adapted to work in difficult conditions. The core made of silver-plated copper ensures high resistance to corrosion and oxidation, which translates into stable electrical parameters for a long time. FEP (HELUFLON®) fluoropolymer insulation guarantees resistance to temperatures in the range of -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C), as well as resistance to chemicals, oils, acids and bases. The cable is flame retardant and radiation resistant, increasing safety of use. Class 5 core (flexible stranded) ensures easy installation and adaptation to various applications.
Applications
The cable finds wide application in industrial installations, switchgear cabinets, furnaces, heating devices, as well as in the chemical and food industries. It will work everywhere where high thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance is required. Ideal for use in environments with increased chemical aggression – e.g. in laboratories or production plants.
