High-temperature cable for demanding applications

This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in extreme conditions. Made of tinned copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliability and safety in installations exposed to high temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. The cable is used both in the construction of switchgear cabinets and in industrial, heating, or kitchen appliances.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible construction, making it easy to lay and connect. The core is made of stranded tinned copper (class 5), which ensures good flexibility and corrosion resistance. The FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation guarantees exceptional resistance to:

• high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C),
• low temperatures (down to -100°C),
• aggressive chemicals (alkalis, acids, oils, gasoline),
• flames and UV radiation.

Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone and cadmium-free, making it safe for the environment and compatible with various production processes. The cable also has high insulation resistance (minimum 2 GOhm/km) and minimal water permeability.
