Robust FEP cable for extreme conditions
This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution for installations requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. The cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions such as furnaces, brickworks, heating devices, as well as in the chemical industry, where it is exposed to aggressive substances. Its construction with a fluoropolymer FEP insulation guarantees reliability and safety in demanding applications.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a tinned copper core, which ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The FEP (fluoropolymer) insulation provides exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and to chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. In addition, this material is flame retardant, resistant to microorganisms and completely waterproof. The flexible multi-wire core class 5 facilitates assembly and provides flexibility in hard-to-reach places.
