Highly durable FEP cable for extreme conditions

This single-core HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y cable is a specialized solution designed for operation in demanding environments. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and resistance to aggressive chemicals, making it an ideal choice for both professional installers and end-users who need reliable cabling. This cable is used in industrial installations, construction of control panel enclosures, as well as in heating and kitchen appliances.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of tinned copper, which ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance. FEP fluoropolymer insulation guarantees exceptional thermal resistance – from -100°C to +205°C (short-term up to +230°C). In addition, this material is resistant to flames, alkalis, acids, food, oils and gasoline. Flexible stranded wire class 5 provides flexibility and ease of installation. The cable is also characterized by high insulation resistance (minimum 2 GOhm/km) and low dielectric losses. It is non-flammable and resistant to the development of microorganisms and fungi.

The rated voltage U0/U is 600 V, and the conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.8 mm.
