Single-core FEP wire for extreme conditions

This brown HELUFLON®-FEP-6Y single-core wire with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a specialized solution for installations requiring high thermal and chemical resistance. Made of tinned copper and insulated with FEP fluoropolymer, it ensures reliable operation in harsh conditions. The wire is ideal for both professional installers and end-users looking for a durable and safe solution.

### Construction and properties

The wire is characterized by a flexible construction with a multi-strand tinned copper core (class 5). The FEP fluoropolymer insulation provides exceptional resistance to high temperatures (up to +205°C, briefly up to +230°C) and aggressive chemicals – alkalis, acids, oils and gasoline. This makes it suitable for use in the chemical industry, bakeries, heating devices and many other demanding applications. Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone or cadmium, making it safe for the environment and painting processes.

The wire has a rated voltage U0/U of 600 V and an approximate outer diameter of 2.8 mm. The insulation resistance is at least 2 GOhm/km, providing effective protection against short circuits and leakage currents. The minimum bending radius is 4x the cable diameter for stationary installation and 10x the cable diameter for flexible installation, making it easy to install even in tight spaces.
