This single-core PVC cable, designated FIVENORM H05V2-K, is a versatile solution for internal wiring. It is suitable for electrical installations, distribution boards, and electrical appliances – especially where compliance with various standards is required. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a flexible, multi-strand copper conductor of class 5, which facilitates installation and provides resistance to bending. PVC insulation of type TI3 guarantees safety and durability. The use of special PVC provides resistance to external factors and allows operation in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +90°C (depending on operating conditions and approvals). This makes the cable suitable for various industrial and domestic environments. The rated operating voltage is 500 V, and the test voltage is 2000 V (even 5 kV for a cross-section of 0.5 mm²). The minimum bending radius is adapted to the cable diameter, which facilitates routing cables in tight spaces.

Compliance with standards and versatility

The cable meets the requirements of five standards: DIN VDE 0285-525-2-31, DIN EN 50525-2-31, UL-Std.1063, UL-Style 10269 (and 1015), and CSA-TEW and CSA-AWM I A/B. Therefore, it can be used in installations requiring compliance with various quality and safety standards. HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM, and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals simplify the bill of materials and reduce storage costs. The cable is also compliant with LVD Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). Additionally, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium, or substances that hinder painting. The conductor cross-section is 0.5 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 2.7 mm.
