Universal connection cable for wide applications

This single-core PVC cable, manufactured in accordance with numerous standards (UL/CSA, DIN VDE, EN), is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end users. The FIVENORM H05V2-K cable is characterized by its flexibility and durability, making it ideal for internal wiring in various applications. The orange insulation facilitates identification in installations.

Construction and properties

The cable is designed for reliability and safety. The multi-strand copper conductor, class 5, ensures good flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The TI3 type PVC insulation guarantees high resistance to abrasion, chemicals and weather conditions. This makes the cable suitable for demanding industrial environments and building installations. The use of special cadmium and silicone-free PVC ensures no problems with painting installation elements.

This cable stands out with a wide range of operating temperatures:

• Flexible: from +5°C to +90°C
• Stationary: from –40°C to +90°C
• UL (AWM): from –40°C to +105°C
• UL (MTW): from –40°C to +90°C
• CSA (TEW): from –40°C to +105°C

The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500 V (up to 1 mm²) or 450/750 V (≥ 1.5 mm²). The cable passed voltage tests at 2000 V, and for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm² even 6 kV. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter and ranges from 4xØ to 6xØ of the cable.

Applications and compliance with standards

The cable is intended for internal wiring of distribution boards, electrical equipment and machine tools. Its compliance with DIN VDE, EN, UL and CSA standards allows it to be used in many countries and industries. It has HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire approvals, which simplifies inventory and documentation management. Additionally, it meets the requirements of LVD 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The cable passed flame propagation tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2 / UL VW-1 and CSA FT1 standards.
