Universal connection cable with multiple approvals

This black, single-core H05V2-K 1.0/AWG18 cable is a versatile solution for internal wiring, particularly valued in export applications and machine tools. Its construction and approvals make it ideal for both distribution boards and electrical equipment wiring. Compliance with five standards (HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM, CSA-Equipment-wire) simplifies inventory management and reduces costs.

Construction and properties

The cable is made of stranded bare copper conductor class 5 (DIN VDE 0295/IEC 60228/UL Std. 758) and TI3 type special PVC insulation (DIN VDE 0207-363-3/DIN EN 50363-3 and UL-Std. 1581). The insulation material is silicone-free, cadmium-free and free of substances hindering painting – which is important in production processes requiring high-quality finishing. The cable's flexibility is ensured by a working temperature range of +5°C to +90°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +90°C (stationary), and in the case of UL (AWM) approvals even up to +105°C. Operating voltage is 300/500V (up to 1 mm²).

Safety and compliance with standards

The cable meets safety requirements, including flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1- 2/IEC 60332-1-2/ UL VW-1, CSA FT1). It also has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the LVD 2014/35/EU directive. The test voltage is 2000V, and for cross-sections ≥ 0.75 mm² even 6kV. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter up to 8mm it is 4xØ cable, above 8mm – respectively 5xØ or 6xØ cable.
