Single-core PVC wire according to UL/CSA FIVENORM H05V2-K 1/AWG18 purple 11019377
Universal cable for many applications
This purple, single-core H05V2-K cable with a cross-section of 1.0 mm² (AWG18) is a versatile solution for internal wiring. Designed for export requirements and use in machine tools, it is also suitable for distribution boards and electrical devices. Its unique feature is compliance with as many as five standards – HAR, UL-AWM, UL-MTW, CSA-AWM and CSA-Equipment-wire – which simplifies inventory management and the bill of materials.
Flexibility and safety in every detail
The cable is made of a class 5 stranded copper conductor, insulated with special TI3 type PVC. This construction ensures flexibility and reliability of connections. In addition, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that hinder painting. The cable has passed flame propagation tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2 / UL VW-1, CSA FT1), which increases the safety of the installation.
Wide range of temperatures and voltages
The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +90°C for stationary operation and from +5°C to +90°C for flexible operation. For UL (AWM) cables, the permissible operating temperature reaches even +105°C. The operating voltage is 300/500V (up to 1 mm²), and the test voltage is 2000V. Compliance with UL and CSA standards allows its use in applications requiring high reliability and safety. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter – for cables with a diameter below 8 mm it is 4x the cable diameter, above 8 mm – respectively 5x or 6x the cable diameter.
