Welding cable – reliability in demanding conditions
This flexible welding cable with a rubber jacket is designed for operation in harsh conditions requiring resistance to external factors and high conductivity. It is ideal for both industrial and service applications. This cable is used between the generator or welding machine and the electrode, guaranteeing safe and efficient current conduction.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of twisted copper wire, which provides high flexibility and resistance to bending. The chloroprene rubber insulation (EM5 compound) protects against the influence of chemicals, oils, gasoline, ozone, UV radiation and high temperatures. Additionally, the outer jacket is flame retardant and does not spread flames – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard. The cable retains its properties over a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary operation) and from -25°C to +80°C (flexible operation), and the maximum conductor temperature can reach +85°C. This makes it a reliable solution even in extreme conditions.
Applications and benefits
The H01N2-D 1x50 mm² cable is widely used in:
- automotive and shipbuilding industry,
- transport,
- production lines,
- welding workshops.
Its resistance to oils and chemicals makes it ideal for working in industrial environments. Flexibility makes it easy to lay and connect, and flame retardancy increases safety. The cable retains its properties even under the influence of ozone, light and protective gases – which is particularly important when welding with various methods. It provides a stable electrical connection and minimizes the risk of power interruptions during welding. In addition, its solid construction guarantees long-term operation.
