Silicone cable for extreme conditions
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions where standard cables fail. It is characterized by high temperature resistance and flexibility, making it an ideal choice for industrial and specialized applications. This cable is particularly recommended where reliability and safety are required, as well as halogen-free properties.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of tinned copper wire with a cross-section of 4 mm², insulated with silicone. The single-core construction ensures easy installation and flexibility in routing. In addition, the cable has a fiberglass reinforcement, which increases its mechanical strength. The silicone insulation guarantees resistance to high and low temperatures – from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C). The cable is also resistant to oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis and UV radiation. An important aspect is its halogen-free nature – in the event of a fire, it releases minimal amounts of toxic gases.
