Single-core silicone cable resistant to high temperatures SiD 1x1 mm² white 46505
High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in extreme conditions
This single-core silicone cable is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C), it is ideal for the metallurgical industry, aerospace, cement plants, as well as in the production of glass and ceramics. The halogen-free cable construction increases safety, allowing its use even in power plants.
The cable is characterized by high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Made of tinned copper wire, insulated with silicone, it provides a stable connection and long-lasting operation. Additional properties include resistance to oils, greases, alcohols, acids, alkalis, and weather conditions and UV radiation.
Construction and application
The HELUTHERM SiD cable has been designed with difficult working conditions in mind. Its construction is based on a single copper core with a cross-section of 1 mm², surrounded by silicone insulation. The cable is tested for corrosion resistance to fire gases (according to DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-2) and has self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties (according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2).
Thanks to this, the cable finds application in:
- industrial installations exposed to high temperatures
- heating devices
- furnaces
- high-temperature lighting
- machines and equipment requiring a flexible conductor
- power plants (thanks to the absence of halogen)
