Single-core silicone cable resistant to high temperatures SiD 1x1 mm² brown 46504
High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in extreme conditions
This brown, single-core SiD silicone cable with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a solution for demanding applications where standard cables fail. Designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C), it is perfect for harsh industrial environments. Its construction and materials guarantee long-lasting and safe operation.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a single copper core covered with silicone insulation. Additional reinforcement with fiberglass increases its mechanical strength and resistance to damage. Silicone insulation provides not only flexibility but also resistance to chemical factors – oils, greases, acids, alkalis, and salt solutions. The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire and minimizes the emission of toxic gases (compliance with IEC 60332-1-2).
The use of high-quality materials and adherence to DIN VDE 0250 part 1 and 502 standards guarantee reliability and compliance with applicable standards. The cable has been tested for fire gas corrosion (DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-2, IEC 60754-2) and self-extinguishing properties (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1).
Applications and benefits
The SiD cable finds application in many branches of industry:
- Steelworks: Resistance to high temperatures makes it ideal for working in a steelworking environment.
- Aerospace: Lightweight construction and flexibility make installation easier in spaces with limited access.
- Cement plants: Resistance to abrasion and chemicals ensures long-term operation in the harsh conditions of a cement plant.
- Glass and ceramics factories: Resistance to high temperatures and chemical stability guarantee reliable operation in production processes.
- Power plants: The halogen-free nature of the cable increases fire safety in energy facilities.
- Industrial installations: The versatility of the cable allows it to be used in a wide range of industrial applications requiring resistance to extreme temperatures and chemicals.
Thanks to its flexibility, the cable is easy to install even in tight spaces. The minimum bending radius is 15 x cable diameter, which facilitates routing cables in complex installations. The rated voltage U/U0 is 300/500V, and the test voltage is 2000V, ensuring safe operation of the device. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.5 mm with a core cross-section of 1 mm².
