Single-core silicone cable resistant to high temperatures SiD 1x1 mm² red 46502
High-temperature silicone cable – reliability in extreme conditions
This single silicone cable, with a cross-section of 1 mm², is designed to operate in demanding environments where standard cables fail. It is characterized by exceptional resistance to high and low temperatures, making it an ideal choice for industrial and specialized applications. Made of tinned copper with silicone insulation, it provides reliable conductivity and long-lasting operation.
Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM SiD 1x1 mm² cable stands out with its construction adapted to work in difficult conditions. The copper core, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5, guarantees good electrical conductivity. Silicone insulation provides temperature resistance in the range of -60°C to +180°C (short-term up to +220°C), as well as resistance to oils, greases, solvents and atmospheric conditions. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in case of fire – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard.
Applications and benefits
This cable finds wide application in industries: metallurgical, aviation, cement, glass and ceramic. Halogen-free properties make it particularly recommended for installations in power plants. Its flexibility makes it easy to install even in tight spaces. Thanks to its radiation resistance (up to 20 x 10⁶ cJ/kg), it can also be used in environments exposed to ionizing radiation. The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V, allowing its use in many electrical installations. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.5 mm, which facilitates its routing and connection.
