Silicone cable for demanding conditions
This single-core silicone cable is designed to operate in extreme temperatures and industrial environments. It is characterized by exceptional flexibility, which facilitates installation even in hard-to-reach places. This cable is ideal for where standard cabling fails – in the steel, metallurgical, aviation, shipbuilding, cement and ceramic industries, as well as in power plants.
Construction and properties
The cable is made of a multi-strand class 6 conductor, providing high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. Silicone insulation guarantees reliable operation over a wide temperature range – from -60°C to +180°C (flexibly from -25°C). The rated voltage U0/U is 300/500V. Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire – it meets IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1-2 standards. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.8 mm with a conductor cross-section of 1 mm².
