Flexible spiral cable for demanding applications
This black, three-core PUR-SPIKA cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a reliable solution for powering devices in harsh conditions. It is characterized by high flexibility thanks to its spiral construction, which makes it easy to route and connect even in tight spaces. The cable is designed to operate in a temperature range from -25°C to +70°C and withstands a rated voltage of up to 750 V, making it a versatile choice for many applications.
Construction and properties
The PUR-SPIKA cable is made of high-quality materials. It has twisted copper cores insulated with rubber, which ensures good conductivity and flexibility. A yellow-green protective conductor (available from 3 cores) guarantees safe use. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) provides resistance to abrasion, oils and greases, and also protects the cable from mechanical damage. Thanks to an elongation ratio of 1:4, the cable can be stretched up to 4 meters with an initial spiral length of 1000 mm – this is a great convenience during installation. It is also important that there is a straight section of 200 mm at the ends, which facilitates connection to devices.
Applications and benefits
The PUR-SPIKA cable will work in many industries and applications:
- Machines and power tools: ideal for powering mobile and portable devices.
- Construction industry: resistant to conditions on the construction site.
- Lifts: provides reliable power supply in dynamic working conditions.
- Entertainment and medical industries: safe and flexible cable for specialized applications.
- Measuring instruments and revolving doors: adapted to the specific requirements of these devices.
Axial versions and sections with a longer spiral length (up to 5 meters) are also available, which increases the possibilities of adaptation to specific installation needs. It is worth remembering that the AWG sizes given are approximate – the exact cross-section is given in square millimeters (mm²).
