Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures HELUTHERM® 145 1x0.75 mm² yellow-green 51294
Single-core halogen-free cable for applications requiring high thermal resistance
This halogen-free single-core cable is characterized by high temperature resistance, making it an ideal solution in demanding installations. Made with tinned copper conductors, it provides reliable conductivity and long-lasting operation. This cable is particularly recommended for applications where fire safety is a priority, as it does not release toxic gases and fumes during combustion.
Construction and properties
The HELUTHERM® 145 cable is designed for a wide range of applications. Its construction is based on copper conductors (class 5 – flexible stranded) insulated with electron-beam cross-linked polyolefin copolymer. This technology provides not only high temperature resistance (up to +145°C for fixed installation and +120°C for flexible operation) but also good resistance to abrasion, oils and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable meets standards regarding low flammability and the absence of harmful substances during a fire.
- Conductors made of oxygen-free copper, tinned for better conductivity and corrosion protection.
- Insulation made of cross-linked polyolefin ensures high thermal and mechanical resistance.
- The cable is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire – it does not emit toxic gases hindering evacuation.
- Resistant to UV radiation and weather conditions – ideal for outdoor applications.
- Compliant with safety standards: Germanischer Lloyd and meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
Applications and parameters
This cable is used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electric machines (thermal class B), distribution boards and in the construction of machines and concealed, semi-concealed and surface-mounted installations. It can be used in conduit systems at voltages up to 1000V AC or 750V DC (and in rail vehicles even up to 900V DC). Its flexibility makes it easy to install even in hard-to-reach places. The conductor cross-section is 0.75 mm², and the rated voltage is 300/500 V (up to 1 mm²), and above 1 mm² it can be 450/750 V or even 600/1000 V with appropriate laying. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 2.4 mm.
