This high-quality HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable is designed for demanding applications where temperature resistance and fire safety are critical. Construction and properties

The cable is made of tinned copper, which ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation is not only resistant to high temperatures (up to +145°C for fixed installation and +120°C during bending) but also halogen-free. This means that it does not release toxic gases in the event of a fire, increasing evacuation safety. Additionally, the cable is characterized by good resistance to UV radiation, ozone, oils, and mechanical damage. Its flexible construction (flexible stranded wire class 5) makes it easy to lay even in difficult conditions.

Applications and technical parameters

The HELUTHERM® 145 cable finds application in various electrical installations, both indoors and outdoors (with appropriate protection). It is particularly recommended for wiring lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines, and switchboards. It can be used in conduit at a nominal voltage of up to 1000 V AC or 750 V DC. In rail vehicles, a DC voltage of up to 900V is permissible. The wire cross-section of 1.5 mm² provides adequate current carrying capacity for many domestic and industrial applications. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 3.1 mm, which facilitates its routing through cable glands and connectors. The rated voltage U0/U is 450/750 V – it is important to remember this when selecting the cable for a specific installation!
