Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures

This flexible single-core cable HELUTHERM® 145 is designed for demanding applications where temperature resistance and safety are crucial. It meets UL/CSA standards, guaranteeing its high quality and reliability. It is ideally suited for use in wiring lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines, and in building installations.

### Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by tinned copper conductors, which ensure good conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulation is made of cross-linked polyolefin copolymer, which guarantees high thermal and chemical resistance. The halogen-free construction minimizes the emission of toxic gases in the event of a fire, increasing the safety of users and installations. Additionally, the cable is resistant to UV and ozone radiation, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors.

Electron beam crosslinking technology has been used for the insulation, ensuring that the cable retains its properties even when in contact with a soldering iron at temperatures up to 380°C. This is a significant convenience during assembly and connections. The reduction in conductor diameter as a result of crosslinking does not negatively affect the conductor parameters or its weight.
