Single-core halogen-free cable, resistant to high temperatures

This orange HELUTHERM® 145 single-core cable is a reliable solution for applications requiring high thermal resistance and safety. The cable is designed for a wide range of installations, both in construction and industry. It meets UL/CSA standards, guaranteeing its quality and compliance with international standards.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that provides flexibility and durability. The copper cores are tinned, which improves their conductivity and corrosion resistance. The insulation made of cross-linked polyolefin copolymer provides excellent dielectric properties and resistance to external factors. Thanks to the use of electron beam crosslinking technology, the insulation is exceptionally resistant to high temperatures, even when in contact with a soldering iron (up to 380°C). This is important in applications where there is a risk of overheating.

Additionally, the cable is halogen-free, which means that it does not release toxic gases in the event of a fire – this increases the safety of users and minimizes environmental damage. It meets the requirements of fire tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-3 and BS 4066 part 3. Low smoke density and opacity further enhance safety in the event of a fire.
