Single-core halogen-free wire, resistant to high temperatures acc. to UL/CSA HELUTHERM® 145 UL/CSA 600V 1x1.5 mm² yellow-green 59528
Single-core halogen-free wire – reliability and safety in demanding applications
This halogen-free, high-temperature-resistant single-core wire is designed for a wide range of applications where safety, durability, and resistance to extreme conditions are critical. Compliant with UL Style 3578 and CSA C22.2 No. 210, it ensures reliable operation in electrical installations. The wire is flexible thanks to its stranded class 5 conductor construction, making it easy to install and route in tight spaces.
Construction and properties for professionals
The wire is made with a tinned copper core, guaranteeing excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance. The cross-linked polyolefin copolymer insulation provides high temperature resistance – both in flexible mode (-35°C to +120°C) and stationary mode (-55°C to +145°C). Electronic crosslinking of the insulation increases its mechanical strength and abrasion resistance, and also provides resistance to soldering in the temperature range of 300°C to 380°C. This makes the wire ideal for applications exposed to high thermal loads. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free.
Wide application and compliance with standards
The HELUTHERM® 145 wire is used in the wiring of lighting fixtures, heating devices, electrical machines, switchgear, and in the construction of machines and concealed, surface and flush-mounted installations. It will also be useful in communication systems and outdoor installations (taking into account UV resistance). The use of halogen-free materials minimizes the risk of toxic gas formation in the event of a fire, increasing the safety of users and the environment. The wire has Germanischer Lloyd approval and meets the requirements of Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The rated operating voltage is 600V, and the test voltage is 3000V. The conductor cross-section is 1.5 mm², and its approximate outer diameter is 3.4 mm.
