This single-core cable with a fiberglass braid is a solution for applications requiring resistance to very high temperatures. The HELUTHERM® 400 cable is designed to operate in extreme conditions where standard cables fail. • Insulation: Specially saturated fiberglass fabric – the key to resistance to extreme temperatures (up to +400°C continuous operation and briefly up to +450°C).
• Braid: Made of fiberglass, further protects the cable against mechanical damage and external factors.
• Rated voltage: 500 V – universal operating voltage for many applications.
• Outer diameter: Approximately 3.6 mm – compact size facilitating installation in tight spaces.
• Minimum bending radius: 15 x outer diameter of the cable – ensures easy routing and installation without risk of damaging the insulation.

Additionally, the cable exhibits excellent electrical, chemical, and radiation resistance. A version with a Kapton foil is also available for even greater protection. It is worth remembering that at temperatures above 200°C, the impregnation varnish may degrade during the first start-up, leaving only pure glass fibers as insulation – this is a normal phenomenon for this type of cable.
