HELUTHERM® 400 cable is a specialized single-core cable designed for applications requiring exceptional temperature resistance. It features a nickel wire core and insulation made of specially saturated glass fiber, ensuring reliable operation in extreme conditions.

This high-temperature cable finds application in demanding industries such as aerospace, astronautics, nuclear power plants, the chemical industry, steelworks and foundries. Its excellent chemical properties and radiation resistance make it an ideal choice for critical applications. The cable is also available with an additional Kapton foil for increased insulation.

  • Exceptional temperature resistance: The cable retains its properties in the temperature range of -60°C to +400°C, and briefly up to +450°C.

HELUTHERM® 400 cable has a rated voltage of 500 V and a core cross-section of 4 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 4.7 mm. The construction consists of 56 strands with a diameter of 0.3 mm, providing flexibility and ease of installation. The minimum bending radius is approximately 15 times the cable diameter. The cable meets the CE standard (compliance with LVD 2014/35/EU).

It is worth remembering that at temperatures above 200°C during the first start-up, the impregnation varnish may degrade, leaving only clean glass fibers as insulation – this is a normal phenomenon related to the specificity of the material.
