The Hikvision DS-2TD2628-3/QA camera is an advanced device combining thermal imaging and standard camera footage, providing comprehensive monitoring in all conditions. This solution enables effective detection of thermal anomalies, people and vehicles, even in difficult lighting and atmospheric conditions. The camera is used both in security systems and in preventive applications, such as fire protection.

Two Images, One Device – Thermal Imaging and Optical Image

The key feature of the camera is the combination of two imaging technologies: thermal imaging and optical image. The thermal module with a resolution of 256x192 pixels allows for recording temperature differences, enabling the detection of objects emitting heat, regardless of the prevailing lighting conditions. The optical camera image with a resolution of 4MP (2688x1520) provides a detailed image in daylight. The ability to fuse both images allows for better interpretation of the situation and faster decision-making.

The camera is equipped with a fixed focal length lens with a focal length of 4.3 mm, providing a wide viewing angle (84° x 43.1°). The range of white light and IR is up to 30 meters, guaranteeing a clear image even in complete darkness.

Intelligent Image Analysis and Alarm Functions

DS-2TD2628-3/QA offers advanced image analysis functions, such as line crossing detection, intrusion detection and object classification (human/vehicle). Additionally, the camera has a temperature measurement function in the range of -20°C to 150°C with an accuracy of +/- 8°C, which enables early detection of fires or overheating elements. When an anomaly is detected, the camera can trigger a visual alarm (white LED) and an audible alarm.

Solid Construction and Easy Installation

The camera is characterized by high resistance to weather conditions (IP67) and mechanical damage (IK10), allowing it to be installed both indoors and outdoors. Power can be supplied via PoE (802.3af) or a 12V DC power supply. The device supports microSD cards with a capacity of up to 256 GB, enabling local recording of footage. Compatibility with ISAPI, HIKVISION SDK and ONVIF protocols ensures integration with most video surveillance systems available on the market.
