Balcony and terrace drain – solid drainage with adaptation possibilities

This balcony and terrace drain with a DN50/75 diameter is a solution designed for effective water drainage from balcony and terrace surfaces. The construction with a swivel outlet provides flexibility during installation, allowing adaptation to various installation configurations. The drain is designed to meet the requirements of both professional installers and end-users, offering reliability and durability.

A distinguishing feature of this model is the dry anti-odor flap, which effectively blocks unpleasant odors from the sewer system, ensuring comfortable use. The top with a round stainless steel grate guarantees an aesthetic appearance and corrosion resistance. Height adjustment of the grate in the range of 20-75mm allows adaptation to the thickness of the structural layers of the balcony or terrace.

Construction and functionality

The drain has a connecting flange, which in combination with a dedicated sealing kit (HL83 series) enables a tight connection with the waterproofing layer. The DN50/75 outlet pipe is adjustable within a range of 90 degrees, making it easier to adapt to existing installation conditions. A flow rate of 0.8 l/s ensures effective water drainage even during heavy rainfall – the drain is adapted for surfaces up to 26m2 with rainfall of 300 l/(sxha).

Versatility and expandability

This system is characterized by high flexibility and expandability. Thanks to the available straight and collar extensions (HL340N, HL85N, HL85NC, HL85NH) and the drainage ring (HL180), it can be easily adapted to different layouts of the balcony or terrace layers. Additionally, it is possible to use the HL82 heating kit, which prevents water from freezing during the winter period. This solution will work both in new constructions and during the modernization of existing balconies and terraces.

It is worth mentioning the materials used in production – PP/PE provide durability and resistance to atmospheric factors and chemical substances present in wastewater. Load class K - 300 kg guarantees safe use even with high traffic on the balcony or terrace.
