This vertical, electrically heated (230V) emergency roof inlet is a key element in protecting the building from the effects of heavy rain or snow. Its design is intended to provide effective drainage in situations where the main rainwater drainage system is overloaded or malfunctioning. The inlet acts as an independent system, draining water to the area around the building – it is important not to connect it to the main roof drainage system.
The inlet is made of high-quality polypropylene (PP), which guarantees its durability and corrosion resistance. A steel clamping ring ensures stable and secure installation. Additionally, a built-in self-regulating heating element prevents water from freezing inside the inlet during low temperatures, maintaining its functionality throughout the year.
Height adjustment and easy installation
A key feature of this inlet is the ability to smoothly and steplessly adjust the height of the collar in the range of 28-68mm. This allows for precise adaptation to specific construction conditions and ensures optimal operation of the emergency system, taking into account the permissible water build-up height. Installation is simple and intuitive thanks to the DN160 socket connection or a compatible compensating socket of HDPE welded systems. The set includes a leaf basket with a diameter of 262 mm, which prevents the inlet from clogging with debris.
