Emergency Roof Drainage – Safety and Reliability
This DN75 emergency roof inlet is a key element in protecting the building from the effects of heavy rainfall. Its task is to provide gravity drainage of the roof in situations where the main water drainage system fails. This is an independent installation that drains water onto the ground adjacent to the building, without connecting to the main roof drainage system. Therefore, even in the event of a failure of the main system, you can be sure that the water will not damage the structure.
Design and Functionality
The inlet is made of durable polypropylene (PP), which guarantees its durability and resistance to weather conditions. It is equipped with a steel clamping ring, which allows for a tight connection with the roofing membrane. A key feature of this model is the height-adjustable emergency outlet – its smooth adjustment in the range of 28-68 mm allows adaptation to the permissible water head height, ensuring optimal drainage performance. A drainage grate with a diameter of 262 mm prevents leaves and other debris from entering the system.
Installation and Compatibility
The inlet has a DN75 spigot connection or a compensating socket compatible with HDPE welded systems. Its installation is simple and intuitive, which will be appreciated by both professional installers and people independently undertaking renovation work. The installation height is 100mm. The weight of the inlet itself is approximately 3.014 kg, and in the carton – 3.814 kg. The dimensions of the carton are 300/385/385 mm, and its volume is 0.0444675 m³.
