Roof drainage with heating – a reliable solution for flat roofs

This vertical roof inlet DN110, equipped with a 230V heating system, is designed for effective drainage of water from flat roofs. The solid construction made of polypropylene (PP) and a steel clamping ring ensure durability and a tight connection with the waterproofing layers. A leaf basket is included to prevent clogging of the drain.

Construction and functionality

The inlet combines a proven gravity design with additional protection against freezing. The self-regulating heating system (10-30W at 230V) melts snow and ice, maintaining continuous operation even in difficult weather conditions. This avoids problems associated with waterlogging and potential roof damage. The use of high-quality materials – polypropylene and stainless steel – guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation.

Application and compatibility

This roof inlet is ideal for both new installations and modernization of existing drainage systems. The possibility of a DN110 socket connection or the use of a compensating socket from the HDPE pipe manufacturer facilitates integration with various types of installations. A wide range of additional elements (extensions, sealing sets, gratings) allows adaptation to specific roof layer arrangements – traditional, inverted, ventilated or green. The drainage capacity is 10.70 l/s, ensuring rapid water removal even during heavy rainfall.
