Balcony and terrace drain – reliable drainage designed for durability

This complete balcony and terrace drain, made of high-quality polypropylene (PP), is an ideal solution for effectively draining water from balconies, terraces, as well as sidewalks and parking areas. Designed for easy installation and long-term operation, it is a key element of the drainage system. The set includes a bitumen collar, which ensures a tight connection with the waterproofing layer, minimizing the risk of leaks and structural damage.

Construction and functionality

The drain is characterized by a vertical design with a DN75/110 outlet, which allows for efficient water drainage. The durable frame and cast iron grate with dimensions of 190x190mm guarantee a high load capacity (class B125 – 12.5 tons), making it resistant to loads occurring on terraces and parking lots. Additionally, it is equipped with an odor trap, which prevents unpleasant odors from the sewer from entering the building. Mounting brackets facilitate stable installation. Adjustable base height in the range of 45-80mm allows for adaptation to specific installation conditions.

Application and compatibility

This drain is not only a solid construction but also versatility. The ability to connect with additional elements of the HL Hutterer & Lechner system (such as straight and flange extension elements HL34000, HL8500, HL8500H and HL150 drainage ring) allows you to adapt the drainage to individual needs and the layout of the balcony or terrace layers. It can also be equipped with a HL156 heating set, which prevents water from freezing during the winter. It will be suitable for both new investments and during the modernization of existing facilities. The water flow rate is 2.55 l/s for DN75 and 2.2 l/s for DN110, allowing for effective drainage even during heavy rainfall (up to 85m² with precipitation of 300 l/(s*ha) for DN75 and 73m² for DN110).
