Magnetic filter – protection of installations and equipment

The IFM 40/K magnetic filter is a reliable solution for pre-cleaning water in heating, water supply and industrial systems. Its design combines effective removal of mechanical impurities with the ability to capture ferromagnetic particles, such as corrosion products, scale and post-installation contaminants. This ensures effective protection of the pump, control and measuring fittings, regulating valves and other sensitive components of the installation.

Construction and operating principle

The IFM 40/K filter uses a two-stage filtration process. Water flowing through the filter first passes through a mesh insert, which stops larger mechanical impurities. Then, the water stream is directed to the area of influence of the magnetic field generated by a series of ferrite magnets. The magnetic field attracts and retains ferromagnetic particles, which are difficult to remove using traditional filtration methods. The magnetic insert occupies a central position inside the mesh insert, which optimizes the process of capturing impurities. The body and cover are made of cast iron Zł 250 or ductile iron Zs 50007, which guarantees strength and corrosion resistance. Filters with a brass body have threaded body connections.
