Construction and Properties
This cable is characterized by carefully selected materials and construction. The conductors are made of flexible stranded copper class 5 (according to PN-EN 60228), providing flexibility and ease of installation. XLPE insulation increases the current carrying capacity while maintaining low capacitance – an important feature in installations with frequency inverters. Two screens – electrostatic (polyester tape with aluminum) and a braid of tinned copper wires – effectively protect against electromagnetic interference. The outer jacket is made of a special self-extinguishing and flame-retardant PVC (test according to PN-EN 60332-1-2), increasing the safety of use. The transparent color of the jacket facilitates the identification of conductors.
Application and Parameters
The BiTservo 2XSLCY-J cable is intended for fixed installations and movable connections in industrial equipment, technological lines, and machines operating in dry and humid environments. The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 V, and the rated insulation voltage U0 is 600 V. The conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm², and the number of conductors is 4. This cable is resistant to operating temperatures from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations and from -5°C to +80°C in movable installations. The maximum operating conductor temperature is 90°C. The minimum bending radius depends on the cable diameter: below 12 mm – 5xØ, from 12 to 20 mm – 7.5xØ, and above 20 mm – 10xØ. The insulation resistance exceeds 200 MΩ x km, and the capacitance conductor/conductor is in the range of 70 to 250 nF/km, while conductor/screen is from 110 to 410 nF/km.
