Construction and characteristics

The YDY żo 4x10 cable consists of four copper cores with a cross-section of 10 mm², which allows for the transmission of higher currents. Each core is insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and external factors. Color identification of the cores facilitates correct connection of the wires during assembly. The whole is surrounded by an external PVC coating, providing additional protection and durability. The cores are solid-core (class 1), which makes them easier to bend and adapt to the needs of the installation.

Application and benefits

This cable is perfect for electrical installations in buildings where reliability and safety are required. Thanks to its resistance to low temperatures (down to -30°C after installation), it can also be used in unheated rooms.
