Installation cable for wide application

The YDY 4x4.0 750V cable is a reliable solution for transmitting electrical energy in building installations. Made of copper, with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation. It is a multi-core cable, designed for permanent laying, both indoors and under plaster. It will work in dry and humid environments.

Construction and user parameters

The cable is characterized by a round shape of the cores and their class 1 (solid core). The nominal cross-section of the core is 4 mm², which allows for transmitting appropriate current depending on the load. The rated voltage U is 750V, and U0 – 450V. The approximate outer diameter of the cable is 11.1 mm, which facilitates its routing in installations. The cable weight is 259.21 kg/km, which is important when calculating transport and installation costs. The permissible operating temperature during installation is -15°C to +50°C, and after installation (without vibration) -30°C to +50°C – which makes it resistant to changing weather conditions.

Application and safety

The YDY 4x4 cable is ideal for electrical installations in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Thanks to the fire reaction class Eca, it meets the requirements for fire safety in buildings. The minimum bending radius during permanent installation is 133.2 mm, which avoids damage to the cores during installation. Additionally, the cable has core identification with colors according to HD 308 S2 standard, which facilitates correct connection of the wires. Resistance to low temperature (according to EN 60811-504+505+506) increases its versatility and allows it to be used in difficult operating conditions.
