Universal installation cable for various applications

The H07V-K (LGY) cable is a flexible solution for transmitting electrical energy, ideal for both professional installers and end-users. Made of copper, with insulation and an outer PVC coating, it provides reliability and safety in many applications. Supplied on a drum, it facilitates unwinding and working in larger areas.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a class 5 stranded wire, which gives it high flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. This is particularly important during installation in tight spaces or in areas exposed to vibration. PVC insulation guarantees good protection against mechanical damage and the influence of atmospheric factors. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +50°C after installation (without vibration), and the maximum conductor temperature is 70°C. Resistance to low temperatures is confirmed by EN 60811.

Application and benefits

This red cable with a cross-section of 35 mm² is perfect for fixed installations, both in conduits under plaster and in cable ducts. Thanks to its flexibility, it is also suitable for movable and vibration-prone connections. Its construction allows for safe transmission of electrical energy at a rated voltage of 750 V (450 V U0). Reaction to fire class Eca provides an additional level of safety. The cable is identified by the color of the insulation – red – in accordance with HD 308 S2, which facilitates its differentiation during installation. Conductor resistance is 0.554 Ohm/km.
