The YTDY cable consists of 12 single-wire copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², each insulated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The conductors are twisted together and surrounded by an outer sheath of PVC compound, which provides additional protection against external factors. The color of the conductor insulation is consistent with the Technokabel identification system, which facilitates correct connection of the wires.

The intended use of this cable covers a wide range of applications in low-voltage installations:
