This white H05VV-F workshop cable, designated as OWY żo, is a versatile solution for powering devices in dry and humid environments. It will work both in workshops and in households. Construction and properties

The cable is made of multi-strand copper conductors class 5, which guarantees good flexibility and facilitates installation. The insulation and outer jacket are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), providing basic protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. The color coding of the conductors facilitates identification during installation – in the 3-core version we have brown, black and grey. The cable also has a protective conductor, which increases safety of use.

Pay attention to the permissible operating temperature of the cables – up to 70°C for the conductor and from -40°C to 50°C for the environment after installation. This makes the cable suitable for operation in a wide temperature range. Additionally, this cable is characterized by resistance to low temperatures according to EN 60811-504+505+506.

The most important of these are: nominal conductor cross-section 1 mm², number of cores 3, rated voltage U 500 V and U0 300 V. The insulation and jacket are made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the approximate outer diameter is 6.75 mm. The conductor resistance at 20 ° C is 19.5 Ohm/km, and the minimum permissible bending radius in fixed installations is 40.5 mm.

Application and compliance with standards

The H05VV-F cable is used in portable household, kitchen and office equipment, as well as in workshop devices. It can be used in humid conditions, but it is important to remember the limitations regarding mechanical stress. It is a good choice for connecting devices such as washing machines, refrigerators or power tools. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 regarding fire resistance. The reaction to fire class is Eca according to EN 13501-6. However, remember that this is not a halogen-free or low-smoke cable – if these features are crucial for your application, consider other options.
