Sedimentation tank for rainwater drainage
The DN500 sedimentation tank is a comprehensive solution for effective drainage of rainwater from urban and street areas. Designed to work with class D400 (40-ton load capacity) street inlets and reinforced concrete rings, it ensures reliable operation and durability. This product is used in both new investments and modernizations of existing infrastructure.
Construction and product features
The tank features a corrugated, two-layer construction with a sediment trap (bottom) made of durable polypropylene (PP). Different sediment trap heights are available – 280 mm (50 liters), 520 mm (100 liters) and 780 mm (150 liters) – allowing adaptation to specific hydraulic conditions. A smooth PP spigot is available in diameters of DN160, facilitating connection to existing sewage systems. The high ring stiffness of the shaft pipe (SN8) guarantees resistance to loads, and the tank design minimizes the transfer of loads from the inlet to the tank itself, directing them to the surrounding ground.
Advantages for installers and users
- Quick installation: The low weight of the elements facilitates transport and installation, eliminating the need for heavy equipment.
- Economical solution: Narrow excavations and simple installation translate into lower investment costs.
- Durability and resistance: Polypropylene provides resistance to corrosion, impact and the action of aggressive chemical substances contained in wastewater and groundwater.
- Safety: High ring stiffness and a design minimizing load transfer ensure stability and safety of use.
- Flexibility: Easy to make additional connections directly on site.
- Resistance to weather conditions: The material does not absorb water and is resistant to low temperatures, allowing for year-round installation.
- Adaptation to the ground: The tank flexibly cooperates with the ground, compensating for changes caused by freezing or consolidation.
The sedimentation tank is not only an infrastructure element, but also an investment in the long-term and trouble-free operation of the rainwater drainage system. Its solid construction and resistance to external factors guarantee peace of mind for users for many years.
Advantages of a settling well:
- Low weight of elements - quick and easy assembly, moreover, the manholes do not collapse under the influence of their own weight or dynamic loads, which eliminates the failure rate of sewage pipe connections.
- Low investment cost - narrow excavations with dimensions similar to well dimensions, assembly without the use of heavy equipment, quick assembly and easy transport.
- Impact resistance - external notches protect the shaft pipe.
- Corrosion resistance.
- Possibility of installation in sub-zero temperatures - the chamber is made of polypropylene (PP).
- Chemical resistance to aggressive sewage, groundwater and contaminated soil.
- They do not have a negative impact on the environment.
- They do not absorb water, resistant to low temperatures.
- Cooperation with the ground - they adapt to the current state of the ground, changing under the influence of freezing or consolidation.
- Ease of making an additional connection - making a hole and installing the insert in-situ.
- Highest abrasion resistance.
- Flexibility of connecting the pipe to the well.
- Easy and quick height adjustment.
