Sedimentation well PP DN500 – effective stormwater drainage

The DN500 sedimentation well is a comprehensive solution for draining rainwater from urban areas. Designed to work with street inlets of class D400 (load 40 tons), it is an integral part of the stormwater drainage system. The well structure, combined with reinforced concrete rings, ensures effective water drainage, minimizing the loads acting on the well itself – they are transferred directly to the surrounding ground. This makes the system stable and resistant to damage.

The well is equipped with a smooth nozzle made of polypropylene (PP), available in two diameters – DN160 and DN200, providing flexibility in connection to existing infrastructure. The high ring stiffness of the trunk pipe (SN8) guarantees resistance to loads, and the material – polypropylene – is characterized by chemical and mechanical resistance.

Construction and application

The sedimentation well is integrated with a sedimenter with a capacity of 150 liters, which allows for the preliminary separation of solid impurities from rainwater. The total height of the well is 1500 mm, and the height of the sedimenter itself is 780 mm. The orange color makes it easier to locate the well during service and maintenance work.
