Telescopic adapter for cast iron manholes – flexible height adjustment

This telescopic adapter, made of polypropylene, is used to connect cast iron manholes with a diameter of 770 mm to well elements with a diameter of 600 mm. Its main function is to allow precise adjustment of the well height to the terrain conditions and installation specifics. This makes installation easier and the visual effect more aesthetic.

This adapter is a key element of the Diamir manhole systems from Kaczmarek, designed for the construction of gravity sewer networks – sanitary, rainwater, combined and industrial, as well as for drainage. The polypropylene it is made of is characterized by high resistance to chemical factors, impacts, low and high temperatures, and stress corrosion. This guarantees long-lasting and trouble-free operation in harsh environmental conditions.

Construction features and application

The telescopic adapter allows compensation for height differences between the manhole and the remaining well elements. The built-in gasket ensures a tight connection, minimizing the risk of leaks and contamination entering the sewer system. The polypropylene construction makes the adapter lightweight and easy to install – both for professionals and DIY enthusiasts. It can be used in various types of Diamir wells: inspection (with and without a manhole cover) and wells with a sediment trap.

This adapter is used during the construction of new sewer networks and the modernization of existing installations. It also allows the well to be adapted to changing terrain conditions or user needs. The minimum ambient temperature during installation is -20°C. The adapter is resistant to wastewater from households and rainwater drainage.
