Steel elbow for KAN-therm installations – reliability and easy installation

This is a 90° elbow from the Steel series, designed to create durable and leak-proof connections in steel heating and cooling installations. Made of carbon steel with a galvanized coating, it provides corrosion resistance and long-term operation. A key feature of this elbow is the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which indicates an unpressed connection, minimizing the risk of leaks.

The elbow is designed for press connections, which significantly speeds up and simplifies installation compared to traditional connection methods. This makes it practical for both professional installers and those performing plumbing work themselves.

Design and application

The Steel 90° elbow with a diameter of 15 mm (DN 12) has clamping sleeves on both sides, allowing connection with pipes of the same diameter. Its compact design (length 53 mm, bend radius 18 mm) allows installation in areas with limited space. The EPDM O-ring seal guarantees a leak-proof connection even at high temperatures and pressures – up to 16 bar.
